DiPietro Law LLC, a successful estate planning, elder law, and estate and trust administration firm founded by Leslie Case DiPietro, is seeking Legal Assistants to join our team in various practice areas as we grow to meet the needs of our community. Base compensation ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 for applicants with junior experience, and $65,000 to $70,000 for more experienced applicants.
The Ideal Candidate is:
- Experienced - legal administrative experience or paralegal (any practice area), financial planning assistant, administrative/billing assistant in a long-term care facility, social worker.
- Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous.

- Detail-oriented - would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture.
- Achievement-oriented - enjoys taking on challenges and problem solving.
- Autonomous/Independent - enjoys working with little direction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and File&ServeXpress.
Responsibilities:
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with important legal matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Collect, organize and review legal and financial documents needed to help families establish their estate plan, qualify for public benefits like Medicaid and VA, and administer estates and trusts after death.
- Coordinate with collateral professionals providing support and guidance to clients on related matters.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, filings and applications for attorney review.
- Independently maintain required deadlines to ensure timely filings with courts and agencies.
- Organize, prepare, and finalize various legal and financial forms critical to clients’ legal matters.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients on behalf of their attorney.
- Coordinate and communicate with courts, agencies, and other professionals to ensure proper filing and administration.
- Build relationships with clients and their professional contacts with excellent communication and work product.
- Work with attorney and other team members to develop strategies to enhance client experience and efficiency.
- Comply with detailed work processes and procedures to ensure consistent services for every client.
- Work with fellow team members to ensure complete legal services for each client.
- Act as witnesses and notary public for document signings.
Required Education/Skills:
- Completion of Associates degree or higher.
- Superior customer service skills where clients feel welcome, important and appreciated.
